About WarDogs.News

WarDogs.News is a free, unofficial loadout planner and item database for WARDOGS, the 100-player tactical FPS by BULKHEAD and Team17. It exists to answer one question fast: what will this kit cost me, and how heavy will it be?

Where the numbers come from

Prices, weights and stats are compiled from the shipped game files and from community measurements during the Alpha, closed Beta and Early Access launch. Current snapshot: Early Access launch build (10 Sep 2026).

• Values shown as “—” have not been published by the developer or captured yet.
• Values marked “est.” are derived (for example per-round ammo price from a box price).
• Backpack capacity is shown as a slot count. The in-game inventory is a shape grid, so treat it as a guide, not a guarantee.
• Muzzle devices are not yet in the database.
• Artillery firing tables and map geometry (bounds, towers, spawn zones) come from the MIT-licensed wardogs-calculator project by Apollyon. No game imagery is hosted here.

Steam sign-in and squads

Squads use Steam's OpenID sign-in. We store only your public Steam ID, display name and avatar URL, the squads you are in, the loadout code you publish and the shared map markers. Sign out removes the session; leaving a squad removes your data from it.
